Briley Neugebauer of Polaris Dance Theatre
"One of Everything" is a short poetic memoir commissioned by dancer and choreographer Briley Neugebauer for a world premiere dance work to be presented in Polaris Dance Theatre's upcoming program, Home Grown (June 6-15). I was thrilled to be invited to collaborate with Briley, whose work I greatly enjoy, and we've had lots of fun working together to create an original dance/spoken word piece exploring the complexity of sibling relationships, what it's like to grow up in a big family, and why we love our brothers and sisters even when they drive us crazy.
